Warlords of Draenor Reputations

Every Warlords of Draenor faction, with how to earn its reputation and what it rewards.

Traditionally, the Arakkoa worship the bird god, Rukhmar. When an Arakkoa is found to worship another god or commits another unforgiveable deed, they are punished and sent to the cursed pools of Sethekk Hollow. There, they lose the ability to fly and become recognizable due to the contorted shape their bodies take. Rather than worshipping Rukhmar, they follow Anzu and Terokk. When the Arakkoa Outcasts greet one another, one will utter the phrase, "Shadows gather", to which the other Arakkoa will respond, "when the raven swallows the day." The Arakkoa Outcasts make use of shadow magic in order to fight the Arakkoa of those still following Rukhmar. A splinter faction of the Arakkoa Outcasts joined with the Burning Legion, led by former Arakkoa Outcast leader Iskar. However, many Arakkoa Outcasts refused to join and a war begin between the two groups in the Tanaan Jungle.

Where as Vol'jin's Headhunters shared a common goal with their Alliance counterpart, Vol'jin's Spear exists in direct opposition to their Alliance counterpart, Wrynn's Vanguard. While Gul'dan's success would spell ruin for both the Horde and the Alliance, the history between these two factions makes it very difficult for the two to completely put aside their differences and work together. As a result, Vol'jin's Spear keeps the Alliance in check. While a Gul'dan victory would be bad for the Horde, the Alliance becoming overwhelmingly powerful via newly formed alliances in this alternate Draenor would be equally disastrous for the Horde.

Wrynn's Vanguard exists as a counterbalance to Vol'jin's Spear. Though the Alliance and the Horde share a common enemy in Gul'dan and his victory would spell doom for both factions, the Alliance cannot let the Horde grow too powerful for fear that once Gul'dan was dealt with, they would then turn their attention to the Alliance and seek to put an end to a war begun many decades ago. To this end, Wrynn's Vanguard seeks to keep the Horde in check and prevent the Horde from overrunning the Alliance in this alternate Draenor which Varian Wrynn knows would very likely spill over into Azeroth.
