Welcome to the World of Warcraft Reputation Calculator!
This site began as a simple interface to the WoW api as a way to track reputation in a visually pleasing way. From there, the site morphed into a project that would help players with the most efficient ways to earn reputation, showcase rewards for gaining reputation levels, and provide a brief history into each of the factions and their role in the mythology of Azeroth.
I’ve been playing World of Warcraft since Vanilla. My very first toon ever was an undead mage on Dethecus, a PVP server. Leveling on a PVP server was…interesting. There’s a reason I’ve left warmode off since it was introduced. As a graduate student, I spent many nights with my guild raiding Molten Core and Blackwing Lair. I then got married and left the game about a week before the release of the Burning Crusade. I returned to World of Warcraft during Cataclysm and once again returned to raiding. My daughter was born toward the end of the expansion and while I stuck around through the end of Mists of Pandaria, I didn’t have as much time to dedicate to raiding as I did prior to having a newborn and mostly stuck to LFR. I left the game again toward the end of Mists of Pandaria as my wife and I were expecting our second child. I returned again at the end of Legion and have enjoyed the Mythic+ dungeons.
My reputation levels mirror my presence in the various expansions: Cataclysm, Mists of Pandaria, and Battle for Azeroth have mostly exalted reputations whereas the other expansions have a more staggered representation.
My purpose in building this site is that I find earning reputation to be simultaneously rewarding and exhausting. It’s exhausting in that it can be very repetitive, feel grindy, and often, very slow. One of the first features I added after building the initial version was a way to see what ways you could gain reputation as well as how many more times you needed to do that thing to hit the next rank of reputation.
This is only the beta launch of the site. If you find a bug or would love a feature to be added, feel free to use the contact form and let me know what you think. This site is completely ad driven so it would be very helpful if you click on some ads. That will help maintain server costs which is the only real expense for the site.
