The Taunka are a group of people similar in nature to the Tauren. However, unlike the Tauren, the Taunka must force the elements to their will due to the harsh nature of the environment of Northrend. Historically, Azeroth at large knew of the existence of the Taunka. However, it was widely believed that the group of Taunka had been eradicated many generations ago. When the campaign against the Lich King began, the Taunka were rediscovered by Garrosh Hellscream, who came to their aid against the scourge. This act led the Taunka to side with the Horde.
Killing trash mobs without a tabard equipped in heroic Wrath of the Lich King dungeons will award 20 reputation points each.
Killing trash mobs with a tabard equipped in heroic Wrath of the Lich King dungeons will award 20 reputation points each for that faction.
Daily quests award 250 reputation points each.
Killing bosses in heroic Wrath of the Lich King dungeons without a tabard equiped will award 325 reputation points each.
Killing bosses in heroic Wrath of the Lich King dungeons with a tabard equiped will award 325 reputation points each for that faction.
